Hermes Traffic Intelligence

Hermes Traffic Intelligence have a focus on bicycle data. The focus is both on analysing available data to describe, or even predict, cyclists’ behaviour, and also to acquire data where they are not readily available.

We provide algorithms and methods for handling, processing, and analysing traffic data. Through various projects we have worked with data describing the behaviour of pedestrians, cyclists, car and lorry drivers, and buses. We have worked with measuring surface quality of both bike lanes and roads, estimating the environmental consequences of changes to traffic control, describing the consequences of incidents in traffic, and held surveys among cyclists to ascertain the impact of new signs. We have developed algorithms for handling and manipulating map data, stabilising and analysing drone videos, and have provided matching between points, segments, and maps.
