DSB

DSB is the main train operator in Denmark, with a commitment to providing environmentally friendly passenger transport services. Operating on a commercial basis, DSB carries more than 195 million passengers annually. It is an Independent Public Company owned by the Danish Ministry of Transport and employs approximately 7,000 staff.

DSB aims to make the combination of cycling and train travel attractive and easily accessible. In the Copenhagen suburban area, it is free to bring your bike on the S-train, while other train services offer limited capacity for bikes. All DSB stations provide parking facilities for bicycles, and DSB is working to improve existing facilities and implement new bike parking solutions. Additionally, bikes can be rented from mobility suppliers at many stations, making it convenient for commuters who do not take their bike with them on the train.

Through these initiatives, DSB is dedicated to enhancing the integration of cycling and train travel, promoting sustainable transport options for commuters and leisure travelers across Denmark.
