Cycling Embassy of Denmark is a network of inspiring and experienced professionals, who work within various aspects of cycling. Cycling Embassy of Denmark offers a range of experts who you can book for all types of events such as conferences, webinars, workshops etc.

Our speakers:

Niels Hoe – the founder of HOE360 Consulting. He has worked with cycling, green mobility and urban planning and Strategy for 20 years and holds professional work experience from both the Public and Private sector. Niels holds in-depth knowledge on Copenhagen’s transition to A world-class cycling city, as well as experience in how “Upcoming cycling cities and nations” can Initiate the transition and improve cycling conditions.

Thomas Krag – Former CEO of Danish Cyclists’ Federation and CEO of Thomas Krag Mobility Advice. Specializes in transport behavior and attitudes to cycling, figures on cycling and other modes, cycling infrastructure, bicycle parking, cycling and physical exercise, societal costs (and benefits) of transport, cycling strategies and the role of NGOs.

Emil Maj Christensen – urban planner and cycling expert. Emil holds experience spanning advocacy, planning, and collaboration across sectors, Emil brings a practical, real-world perspective to developing more livable, cycling-friendly cities. Emil can share insights are shared into how Copenhagen became a global benchmark for cycling—highlighting both best practices and key lessons learned.

Jesper Pørksen – Director at Danish Cycle Tourism (Dansk Cykelturisme). As an expert leader in the field for 10 years, Danish Cycling Tourism ensures the professionalisation of Denmark’s efforts in this area and creates awareness of the many benefits of promoting cycle tourism and recreational cycling throughout the country. Jesper can share insights into the interplay between the positive effects of cycling on tourism in both urban and rural areas.

Lotte Bech – Architect, Urban Planner and founder of Urban Cycle Planning. Lotte holds extensive experience in the the development of cycle infrastructure, road safety in and public participation in sustainable urban development, which. She is the course leader of “The Bikeable City Masterclass” on cycle planning for foreign professionals.

Hans Danielsen – Sales Manager at Jørn Iversen Rødekro. Hans and Jørn Iversen Rødekro ApS ensures people can keep using a bicycle, even if balance fails them. They produce bikes for people with reduced functional ability. Hans holds experience in adaptive bicycles -and automotive mobility solutions, and valuable insight in how people – even if balance or disabilities make it more difficult – keep cycling.

Tony Bispeskov – Head of Information at DSB. Tony and DSB holds extensive knowledge about how cycling and public transportation co-exist, and how both play a crucial role in urban development.
